Dev Desh Medical Educational Social Pratishthan’s Assisted Living program supports women’s
livelihoods through monetary assistance and employment opportunities. By providing financial aid
and job training, we empower women to achieve economic independence and stability. This
initiative has transformed the lives of 100 women, fostering self-reliance and strengthening
communities through sustainable empowerment.
Resident Care: Supporting the Elderly
Our Resident Care program is dedicated to providing compassionate elderly care and medical
support. Through regular health check-ups, medical assistance, and personalized care, we ensure the
well-being of senior citizens in underserved communities. This initiative has positively impacted 100
elderly beneficiaries, enhancing their quality of life with dignity and respect.
Pharmacy Support: Free Medicine Distribution
The Pharmacy Support program by Dev Desh Medical Educational Social Pratishthan provides free
medicine distribution to those unable to afford essential medications. By ensuring access to critical
drugs, we alleviate the financial burden of healthcare for underserved populations. This initiative has
reached 100 beneficiaries, promoting health equity and saving lives.
Medical Camps: Free Healthcare and Blood Donation
Our Medical Camps initiative organizes free medical camps and blood donation drives to deliver vital
healthcare services to underserved communities. Offering check-ups, diagnostics, and blood
donation opportunities, we promote preventive care and community health. This program has
served 100 beneficiaries, fostering wellness and solidarity through accessible healthcare.
Breast Cancer Awareness & Health Check-up Camp in Manipur
From November 17 to 24, 2022, Dev Desh Medical Educational Social Pratishthan conducted a self-
funded Breast Cancer Awareness & Health Check-up Camp across Imphal East, Imphal West, and
Tengnoupal districts, including Moreh, a key Indo-Myanmar border town. Targeting 500 women, this
initiative addressed the lack of breast cancer awareness and early detection in rural Manipur.
Through awareness sessions, health check-ups, and Self-Breast Examination (SBE) training,
conducted with local health workers, the camp empowered communities to prioritize early
detection and proactive health measures, fostering healthier lives and reducing the burden of breast
cancer
Health Education Initiative in Uttarakhand
From January 22 to 27, 2023, Dev Desh Medical Educational Social Pratishthan conducted a self-
funded Health Education Initiative across Rishikesh, Dehradun, and Pauri Garhwal in Uttarakhand,
impacting 766 beneficiaries. This program addressed the high prevalence of breast cancer, lack of
Basic Life Support (BLS) knowledge, and low nutritional awareness by delivering: breast cancer
awareness camps with preventive check-ups and Self-Breast Examination (SBE) training; BLS
workshops to equip participants with life-saving skills; and lectures promoting the nutritional
benefits of millets, especially among school children. By fostering early detection, emergency
preparedness, and sustainable dietary practices, the initiative empowered communities to embrace
proactive wellness and resilience.
Cancer Mukt Jagrukta Abhiyan in Arunachal Pradesh
From November 18 to 30, 2024, Dev Desh Medical Educational Social Pratishthan conducted the
Cancer Mukt Jagrukta Abhiyan in Tawang and West Kameng districts of Arunachal Pradesh, partially
funded by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh through the Directorate of Health Services.
Impacting 705 beneficiaries, this initiative aimed to generate prevalence data on cancer and non-
communicable disease risk factors, establish a baseline for monitoring, and assess cancer knowledge
among indigenous populations. Through awareness camps, health check-ups, and Self-Breast
Examination (SBE) training, conducted with state health workers, the program promoted cancer
prevention, early detection, and treatment, empowering communities for a healthier future.
