Overwhelming Response! The free eye check-up, spectacle distribution, and cataract surgery service organized in memory of Late Va. H. Bh. P. Janardan (Appa) Prabhu Raundhal received an incredible response from the people of Raundhalwadi and nearby areas. The event concluded successfully with the diagnosis of **118 patients** and identification of **25 cataract cases** for surgery. A heartfelt thanks to Shri Murlidhar Raundhal, the dignitaries of Raundhalwadi, Madhu Hire, Shavirao Walunj, Mrs. Chinchalikar, Sunil Sarjine (Neelam Opticians, Khed), Dr. Vaibhav R. Cancer Screening and Early Detection Free Health Camp was successfully held at Thrizino on 29th January 2025 under the sponsorship of HMLA Shri Tenzin Nyima Glow Ji. The camp was inaugurated by Er. Shri Bonny Shakrinsow, Senior LEA, in the presence of ADC Thrizino Shri Topik Kaki (APCS), Dr. Kiren Deru (MO, Thrizino PHC), medical staff, GBs, and hundreds of local residents. A big step towards early detection and cancer awareness in remote areas, ensuring better healthcare access for all. Grateful for the support and participation that made this camp impactful.

Chhabi Sahayog Foundation, Manipur Prant, in association with Dev Desh Pratisthan, Mumbai, Dr. Mane Medical Center, and Saidham Cancer Hospital, proudly observed Cervical Cancer Awareness Month with a community event at Heirok, Thoubal District, Manipur. The awareness workshop saw enthusiastic participation from over 70 women, healthcare professionals, and community leaders, focusing on educating attendees about cervical cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment. Led by Dr. Th. Kamala Devi, a cancer warrior and Head of the Women’s Wing, along with Dr. N. Premi Devi and Smt. Momoka Salam, the session covered critical topics such as the importance of HPV vaccination and regular Pap smear tests. Participants also had access to free counseling and vital information about affordable screening and vaccination facilities. This initiative is a part of the Foundation’s ongoing campaign, *’We Provide Fearlessness,’* dedicated to fostering health and hope across marginalized communities. We extend heartfelt gratitude to the local leaders and volunteers whose efforts made this event a grand success. Plans are already underway for more workshops across Manipur to spread awareness and ensure early cancer detection. Together, we can make a difference!

देव देश प्रतिष्ठानच्या ‘आरंभ’ लघुपटाला आरोग्य फिल्म फेस्टिव्हलमध्ये विशेष सन्मान! नॅशनल फिल्म अर्काइव्स ऑफ इंडिया, पुणे येथे आयोजित 13व्या आरोग्य फिल्म फेस्टिव्हलमध्ये, *Basic Life Support* या विषयावर आधारित ‘आरंभ’ लघुपटाला प्रेक्षकांची विशेष पसंती मिळाली. सुप्रसिद्ध अभिनेत्री मधुराणी गोखले-प्रभूलकर यांच्या हस्ते प्रतिष्ठानचे डॉ. रविंद्र कांबळे, जयगणेश लिंगाथार, व रविंद्र कांबळे यांनी सन्मान स्वीकारला. 184 लघुपटांमधून केवळ 34 लघुपटांची निवड झाली, त्यात ‘आरंभ’ ने आरोग्य जनजागृतीत महत्त्वपूर्ण योगदान देत आपली छाप पाडली. दिग्दर्शक तेजस भोर यांच्या प्रभावी दिग्दर्शनामुळे या लघुपटाने *आपत्कालीन स्थितीत योग्य उपाययोजना* याविषयी महत्त्वाची जागृती केली. देव देश प्रतिष्ठानच्या या यशाबद्दल हार्दिक अभिनंदन!

The Society-Based Cancer Awareness Workshop in Andro Village, Manipur, organized by Chhabi Sahayog Foundation, Dev Desh Pratisthan, and Saidham Cancer Hospital, brought together experts and locals to discuss early detection, prevention, and treatment of cancer. With over 75 attendees, including women and the elderly, the event provided valuable insights, practical tips, and a platform for open dialogue to dispel myths and prioritize health. Together, we’re building a stronger, healthier future!
